Circling Hayman Island

We started the day walking hundreds of meters into the ocean.  It is only about a foot deep during low tide.

We saw lots of crabs.

Then breakfast where we were being spied on by the mischievous cockatoos.

Then we set out for what we later learned was a 12 kilometer hike around the island.

There was a couple of amazing houses.

Lots of amazing views.

It was hot!!!

Very hot!  Jen wouldn't let me take a picture of her.

After hiking about 10 kilometers we stopped at another beach that has access to the Great Barrier Reef about 100 meters out--it was a tiring swim.  We had been carrying snorkeling gear.

The views were amazing.  This looks like a heart.

Then we hiked home.  We were exhausted.

It was super fun!
