Touring Ho Chi Minh City

First we went to the War Remnants Museum.  It was a heart-wrenching recap of the war and its affect on the citizens of Vietnam.  I believe because the museum was in the south and the Americans fought with the south that the propaganda within the museum was especially strong, much more than what we had seen elsewhere.  It was a difficult museum to view.  We only took a few pictures of the lighter material.

A replica of a prison.

Then we walked around the town and saw this cool store that makes dolls that look like you but it takes weeks.

And we went to the market...

It was massive.

Then saw city hall...

Then walked around the city seeing beautiful buildings...

Massive supermarkets...

And very upscale stores...

Then we went to the Rex hotel which was a popular hang out for the Americans during the war.

Then back to the hotel to relax at the pool and enjoy the happy hour at the club...
